What this document covers

Three different things worth not confusing: the use of this site and its content; the use of the open systems we publish per industry, with sample data; and the general frame of a contractual relationship, which in any case is governed by the contract signed and not by this page.

The content of this site is not legal or tax advice

This site cites published regulation, with its date and its primary source, and explains what it implies for an industry's operation. That reading is ours and can be debated. It does not replace the opinion of your lawyer, your accountant or your tax adviser, and it creates no professional relationship of that kind.

Dates and regulatory texts are verified against their original publication, and each page states the date of verification. Regulation changes: before taking a decision, confirm it is still in force at the source. If you find a misquoted fact, write to us and we correct it with the correction on display.

The open systems and their data

We publish one suite per industry, open and without sign-up, so you can see it running before speaking to anyone. About that:

• Everything you see there is sample data, marked as such. It corresponds to no real company and no real person.
• They are demonstrations: you should not enter real, confidential or personal information in them.
• They may change, grow or stop being available without notice, because they are demonstration material and not a contracted service.

Ownership of what we build for you

It depends on which of the two doors you choose, and it is worth being clear before signing:

• If you acquire the system —you buy it—, the code built for your operation is yours. You may modify it, run it yourself and take it with you, with no attribution or royalties.
• If you rent it, you pay while you use it and the code remains SPARTANE's. You operate the system; you do not own it. Acquiring it later is a decision that can be made afterwards.

The data your operation generates is yours under both arrangements, without exception, and you can export it whenever you want.

SPARTANE retains in every case the rights over the platform the system is built with, over its reusable components and over the sector knowledge we publish here. The exact scope is written into the contract.

Use that is not permitted

• Attempting to access systems, accounts or data that are not yours.
• Extracting the site's content massively and automatically to republish it as your own. Citing us with a link, on the other hand, is welcome.
• Using the demonstration systems for illegal activity or to generate software that infringes third-party rights.
• Presenting our material as issued by an authority, or our readings as the official text of a regulation.

Availability

This site and the open systems are offered as they are. We aim to keep them available and up to date, but we commit to no service level here: availability, support and response-time commitments live in each client's contract, not on a public page.

Personal data and analytics

The processing of personal data —yours, if you write to us or book a session— is governed by the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms. This site uses aggregate usage analytics with the IP address anonymised.

Changes, applicable law and contact

We may update these terms; the date of the latest update appears above and changes apply from publication. The laws of the United Mexican States apply, with jurisdiction in the courts of San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León.
